Livi's Logic #15

I've been learning a lot about myself lately.  I have so many things I want to improve, but I feel good about who I am trying to become.  I want to be the "she" in this quote.

Livi's Logic #14

Just love everything you're doing.  It's what's happening, so enjoy it.

Livi's Logic #13

As the summer is coming to a close and my fitness/healthy eating goals have pretty much gone out the window, I couldn't help but laugh when I saw this.

Luckily, I really love to exercise, because I REALLY love all the treats.  It would be nice to have someone following me around and telling me not to eat all the crap though.  Any volunteers?!

Livi's Logic #12

When I think of the most beautiful people in my life, it's those that are constantly finding the best in others.  I'm so lucky to live with some awesome girls that are always finding the best in others.  It's contagious!  So, here's to finding the beauty in others, so that I too can be a beautiful person.

Livi's Logic #11

I just need to be more thankful.  Sometimes I get caught up in all of the areas I'm lacking in.  I need to just be thankful for all of the great opportunities I have every day.  "To breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love," and so many more!

Livi's Logic #10

It will make us all happier if we just look for the good in others.  Then help them see the good in themselves.  You never know what a kind word can do.

Livi's Logic #9

I love this.  It's true.  We all make mistakes.  We're human.  So be nice to those who do make mistakes because sooner or later you're going to be on the other end.

Livi's Logic #7

People, I have an addiction.  An addiction to food.  I love all food, ALL THE TIME.  I am constantly shoving food in my mouth.  Seriously though, it's kinda ridiculous.  Luckily, I also love to exercise.  Because of this I haven't gained too much weight since high school, but still, I need to be nicer to my body.  Now, if I liked to munch on salad, or cucumbers, or anything healthy for that matter, my obsession with eating wouldn't be that big of a problem.  Because that's not the case, this fits me perfectly!

So, if anyone would like to volunteer for the job, I'd greatly appreciate it :)

Livi's Logic #6

Some pretty sound advice.  If you don't like what's happening with your life, change it.  We're all in charge of our own happiness :)

Livi's Logic #5

I love my parents.  The problem is that sometimes I take them for granted.  I saw this quote a couple of days ago and I decided I need to do a better job of making my time with my parents count.

This weekend I was able to spend quite a bit of time with my parents.  I went to the state basketball tournament where my dad was coaching his high school girls' basketball team.  Tess and I stayed with my parents and had a grand ol' time!  His girls did so great and pulled out an upset in the semifinals to play in the championship game Saturday afternoon.  They played so well but ended up taking second.  I'm still so proud of them!

Mom, Tessa, Violet, Sedona and I got to do some shopping and swimming and sit together at the games.   We had so much fun just being together and visiting about life.  It was so great!  My mom is just so loving.  I know she cares about me so much and I love being with her.  Nothing makes my day more perfect than a being with my mom.  She's the bookkeeper for the team, so she travels with them and my dad.  I thought it might end when Tess was graduated, but she still keeps going!  She loves going and watching the girls and supporting my dad.

I had a lot of great moments this weekend, but my favorite one was with my dad.  It was pretty personal, so without going into too much detail, Dad basically told Tess and I how he knew we had worked so hard to be the best we could be and how bad he wanted us to accomplish our goals.  I almost cried.  My dad's not a one to dish out compliments or really tell us that he's proud of us.  I just always pretend he is :)  So, this moment had a big impact on me and I am so glad I was there to support him in his coaching.  He loves basketball, and he loves these girls.  They work hard and he was so proud of them this weekend.

Summer's just around the corner, and I'm heading home!  I'm not going to lie, I'm a little nervous…  I feel like I'm heading into social Siberia.  I have great friends here and it seems like something is always going on!  When I head home there's going to be like no one my age!  I've been kinda bummed about this and wondering what I'm going to do.  Even Tessa is going to be gone!  I've never spent a summer home without at least 2 of my siblings home.  This week though, I decided it's going to be awesome!  I'm going to get some quality time with my parents.  I'm excited to spend some time with just us three.  Hopefully they don't get too sick of me bugging them about doing stuff with me…  I guess it'll keep 'em young :)

Anyways, so all of you out there, love your parents.  They need us.  They need our friendship.  They need our love.  Just like we need theirs.

Livi's Logic #4

Mother Teresa has been one of my heroes since 7th grade.  In English class we had to write an essay about one of our heroes.  This hero couldn't be a family member and had to be someone we could look up facts about on the internet.  I didn't really have any heroes at the time besides my family, so I asked my mom who would make a good hero.  She told me about quite a few people and the things that they had done, but Mother Teresa won.  The more information I found about her, the more I grew to love her.  She was an amazing lady.  She truly lived her life in the service of others.  This is one of my favorite quotes from her.

Don't worry so much about what others think.  The Lord knows your heart.  And really, that's all that matters.

Livi's Logic #3

I know Heavenly Father loves me, and I know He loves all of you too.
He is our comforter and our best friend.
Turn to Him.

Livi's Logic #2

I need to keep this in mind.  Instead of always thinking about myself, I need to think about others.  God sent me here to help others.

Livi's Logic #1

So I've got a bucket (okay, just a small folder on my desktop...) full of quotes that I love and really believe in.  So I'm going to start inserting them randomly as "Livi's Logic."  Hopefully they'll inspire you, uplift you, make you think, or just straight up make ya laugh!  Anyways, here's numero uno :)
