The Farm Next Door

I've always wanted chickens, and living next door to some boisterous roosters hasn't changed my mind yet!  I actually kind of love sharing a front yard with these crazy animals.  

These animals are these people's pride and joy.  There is always someone there watching them, and so I asked what the purpose for these creatures was.  The roosters are trained to cock fight!  How fun is that?!  I have to go to one of the fights!

The pigs are just being fattened up to eat at the next party :)

Even though the roosters are SO noisy and never seem to stop, I still think they're pretty cool.  They're so pretty too, so that's redeeming.  

I took this video at 5:11 am.  I'm telling you, they are always squawking!  I recorded this in my room with the windows closed and our fan blowing.

Last week some of my siblings and I watched this again for the umpteenth time, and we laughed our heads off--as usual.  These are the boys in my class, and oh how I miss them!  Hope you enjoy it as much as we do :)

Women and Men

There are a lot of differences between guys and girls.  There has been a dove real beauty sketches video  going around the internet.  If you haven't seen it go here.  It was pretty interesting to me.  I'm always weirded out by the way us girls think.  It doesn't make sense to me, so I'm constantly telling myself, "Don't think like a girl" when it comes to topics that girls be weird about.  So, when I saw this video of how men would think when it came time for their sketches to be done, I laughed pretty hard!  I hope you enjoy it :)

Just Give Me a Reason

So, I've always LOVED P!nk.  I can remember the first time I heard one of her songs.  I was in good ol' Rock Springs, WY visiting Violet (she was going to college there) and Hazard to Myself came on the radio, and I was in love!  I still love like all of her songs.  I just think she is so awesome!  So, here's my latest favorite, and possibly my favorite overall.  Her and Nate Ruess sound awesome together!  

Imagine Dragons!!

I went to a concert Friday night up at the Complex in Salt Lake.  It was super fun!

...from about 2 feet above my head.  People, this was a general admission concert, and there were quite a few people.  Needless to say, I was smooshed between people the whole time, I really couldn't move. I pretty much just saw the back of people's heads, and not really the singer or any of the band.  BUT, it was still tons of fun!  The music was amazing!  They are so good live!  I'm glad I had the experience of the mosh-pit concert, but I hope my next concert has designated seating :)

One Man Les Miserables

I went and saw Les Mis on Saturday, and I really enjoyed it!  I am actually kind of embarrassed to say I knew absolutely nothing about it, but it's true.  I have to say I wasn't expecting it to be so dark.  I was always really grateful for the funny innkeepers to lighten the mood once in a while.  The sadness of the movie was just how those times were though.  I don't really have anything to base it off of, but I think they did a great job!  I really loved the music, and I really love this version of it.  I know it's 13 minutes, and that seems pretty daunting, but just start it and get a taste for it.  You don't have to finish it.  And yes, he really does sing all of the parts :)

It's been a month

November 30th I went to the Killer's concert.  It was so amazing!  Since then I have bought the album and listened to it numerous times.  I love it!  Here's my favorite song right now :)

Some Christmas Cheer :)

It's Christmas Eve people!  So, I can't pick a favorite thing about the Christmas Season, but one of my favorites is just the straight up Christmas Spirit.  There's a video I saw back at the start of December of a flashmob of Christmas Carolers in a mall.  I loved it!  Then yesterday they showed it in Relief Society, and you know what?!  I loved it again!  So, I want to share the video with you.  

There's so many negative things going on in our world right now.  Some of them just make me sick, so I always love when I see something positive, something like this video.  I bet this video has touched a bunch of people and helped them realize the true meaning of Christmas--Our Savior.
