I just finished my Spanish final and so I thought I'd post a video in celebration :)  It's all in spanish and there's no subtitles, but even if you don't know spanish, I think the video and the kids faces are pretty explanatory.  I hope you like it as much as I did!

Okay guys, so I typed into google search (aka the best invention ever!) Spanish Buddy because BYU has a program where a native Spanish speaker can help me with my Spanish and I can help them with English.  Let me tell ya, I need all the help I can get!  So, as I'm scrolling trying to find it I come across a headline that says "provo/orem men seeking women classifieds - craigslist"  Really people!!  I about died laughing!  So, naturally I had to click on it, and I'm still laughing!  Some of my favorites are:

Tetherball

Today Tess and I took Taffy and Tony's kids to the elementary school park.  They got new equipment (which is obviously WAY lamer than when we were in school!).  We were talking about this as we were walking down the sidewalk and when we got to the end, lo and behold there was a tetherball standard! Redemption for replacing our equipment!  We were pumped!  So, we set poor little Brady down in the grass (don't worry, he didn't cry!) and started to play.  Once upon a time we had a tetherball standard in our yard, and we both remember being pretty professional at it, so naturally we thought we were going to be awesome.  Boy were we wrong! I threw it over to start us out and, because I'm so great at tetherball :), Tess missed it.  So it was coming back at me and I got ready to hit it back to her, and I totally missed!  It came back around again, untouched, and once again, I missed.  By now, we were laughing our heads off!  Still, we thought we would get better, that our professional skills would return.  Needless to say, we went through 3 games of laughing our heads of at our lack of coordination. About halfway through game 2 I said to Tess, "I feel like mom playing basketball!"  So, while this post would be SO much better if there was a video of us playing, just remember watching my mom playing basketball...but worse!  Who knew being bad at something could be so funny?!  

Pinterest of the Past

Some friends brought over some books that they thought this Teichert household might use.  So, Tess and I decided to take a look at them.  These books are 5 books in the Do-It-Yourself Encyclopedia from the 70's.  While we were flipping through the pages, getting tips on hinges, insulation, and sweet decorating ideas, Tess decided this was the "pinterest of the past."  Take a look :)

So, I do not yet have a Pinterest account, but I'm sure I will have one someday--it really is so handy!  For not, I guess I'll just have to stick with the Do-It-Yourself Encyclopedias. Wish me luck!!

Last week some of my siblings and I watched this again for the umpteenth time, and we laughed our heads off--as usual.  These are the boys in my class, and oh how I miss them!  Hope you enjoy it as much as we do :)

Good Times

Today was a fun day with fun friends.  I honestly laughed like the WHOLE day!  My cheeks and stomach still hurt.  What was so fun?  We went to Salt Lake, ate out, saw the lights, came home, went bunny hunting, and watched a movie.  The food was great, the lights were great, but the company was the best!  I heard some of the BEST stories of my whole life and almost peed my pants three times from laughing so hard!  

Also, a big milestone happened bunny hunting.  I've been like a billion times, but this time I finally shot one myself!  I'm actually kinda proud of it :)

El Dia de los Muertos

Today in my clase de español we celebrated the Day of the Dead.  I really, really, really love my Spanish class.  My teacher is the BEST!  Seriously though, two other spanish professors have confirmed it.  I have a bunch of really awesome people in my class too.  I'm only in Spanish 105, so I don't know a lot, but I'm learning so much, and it's so fun!  ¡Me encanta español!  Here's one of my favorite spanish videos.  (Don't worry...there are english sub-titles)  And I'm not going to lie, every time I see a guy with a mustache, it makes me smile.  They're just so great!  haha
