4 days home and LOTS of blessings

I arrived in good ol' Cokeville Thursday afternoon, and let me tell ya, it's been an eventful time since then!  I've had some time to reflect on all my blessings in the last few days, and I am so blessed!
Here are some of the things I'm thankful for in the last few days:

*One of my best friends got married in the temple
*I got to see 7 of my 9 nieces and nephews
*There are some really good people in this world
*I'm alive
*My family loves me
*Cokeville people are some of the BEST
*I ate my first tin-foil dinner of the year--yum!
*Saw all of my siblings but 1
*Caught up with old friends
*I have roommates for the fall :)
*My belly has been full...all the time
*I've seen miracles

This is just a short list, but I am feeling so blessed right now.  I have a purpose here on earth, and I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and is looking out for me.  My life is so great, and I'm SO glad I get to keep going on this wonderful journey :)

2 more nights

I only have two more nights sleeping in this bed:

and living in this house:

Guys, it's kinda sad.  This bed is so cool, my room is fabulous, and the house is so fun!  It's been a good year White House.

joy/relief/smarter/tired/freedom/accomplished...

...looks like this:

I just finished my last final and my 4th semester here at BYU!  I'm pretty excited about it!  I always knew I'd go to college, and I set a goal to finish, but I never realized it would be this challenging or rewarding, and I'm not even done yet!  I'm not quite half way.  I've got 5 semesters left.  In the last 4 semesters I have earned 65.5 credits, a lot of knowledge, and most importantly-a lot of great experiences and memories!  I've loved my time down here so far, and I'm excited to be coming back for more in the fall.  But before that, bring on SUMMER!!!

Women and Men

There are a lot of differences between guys and girls.  There has been a dove real beauty sketches video  going around the internet.  If you haven't seen it go here.  It was pretty interesting to me.  I'm always weirded out by the way us girls think.  It doesn't make sense to me, so I'm constantly telling myself, "Don't think like a girl" when it comes to topics that girls be weird about.  So, when I saw this video of how men would think when it came time for their sketches to be done, I laughed pretty hard!  I hope you enjoy it :)

Just Give Me a Reason

So, I've always LOVED P!nk.  I can remember the first time I heard one of her songs.  I was in good ol' Rock Springs, WY visiting Violet (she was going to college there) and Hazard to Myself came on the radio, and I was in love!  I still love like all of her songs.  I just think she is so awesome!  So, here's my latest favorite, and possibly my favorite overall.  Her and Nate Ruess sound awesome together!

Enjoy the Ride :)

Here's some pure wisdom from President Gordon B. Hinckley:

"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he's been robbed.  The fact is that most putts don't drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to just be people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, most jobs are more often dull than otherwise.  Life is like an old time rail journey...delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts, interspersed only occasionally be beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed.  The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

I LOVE that!  Life's not easy.  Life's not all fun and games.  We only get one shot down here though, so we just as well make the most of it, and "thank the Lord for letting [us] have the ride."

It's Official...

...I'm trading out these:

For these:

I thought I would be a little bit more bummed about it, but the first chance I got to wear my chaco's and the first time I had the warm sun beating down on my face, I was all for the change!  I really loved this winter, mainly because I got to go skiing.  I went skiing 12 times this year.  It's not like a billion, but I think it's a pretty good number for a busy college student.  I haven't done that since 8th grade.  I absolutely LOVED it!  I improved so much, and it was so nice to be outside during the winter months.  Now we're into spring, and spring in Provo is simply amazing!  I love the weather--even when it's rainy it's not super cold!  I started going running and biking more to get my "outside fix", I do homework outside, and I enjoy my walks to and from campus.  So, here's to more days loving what I'm doing and soaking in the sunlight!  I have such an awesome life :)
