Creepy Easter Everybody :)

Carrots go perfectly with Roast Baby.

I know where two more eggs are, girls.

I laughed my head off when I read these, and got kinda creeped out.  I saw them on buzzfeed.com, which always has SUPER hilarious stuff.  Check it out sometime.  I hope you all had a Happy Easter :)

Short People Probs...

Being 5'2" and all, I have discovered a few inconveniences.  So, here's a list of some of them.

  • Capris come as high-waters.  Every time I try on a pair of capris I am reminded of how short I am.  I have to roll all of my capris a good 3 inches at the bottom.
  • Your feet don't touch the ground when you're sitting on a handicapped toilet.  Just trust.  It happened to me yesterday.
  • Running leggings are too long.  Even size small.  Come on Under Armour!  Not all girls who run are models!
  • You can't see at concerts (refer to last post...).
  • You have a short torso, so it's hard to look skinny.
  • You have to get a chair to dust things at work.  Annoying and slightly embarrassing.
  • People love to see how high they can place their hand for you to give them a high five, just to see you jump.
  • You have to jump up on your kitchen counters to get a lot of stuff in the cupboards.
  • Jr. high kids love to point out that they're almost as tall as you (or taller!)
This isn't a complete list, but these are just a few of the problems I've encountered in the last month or so.  Really, it's not that bad, and when these things happen I just laugh.  But honestly, I actually like being 5'2".  I just thought I'd give all of you out there a little insight on the struggles of us shorties :)

Imagine Dragons!!

I went to a concert Friday night up at the Complex in Salt Lake.  It was super fun!

These are the lovely ladies I went with :)

And this was the view...

...from about 2 feet above my head.  People, this was a general admission concert, and there were quite a few people.  Needless to say, I was smooshed between people the whole time, I really couldn't move. I pretty much just saw the back of people's heads, and not really the singer or any of the band.  BUT, it was still tons of fun!  The music was amazing!  They are so good live!  I'm glad I had the experience of the mosh-pit concert, but I hope my next concert has designated seating :)

Here's one of my favorite songs of theirs for those of you interested. They're great :)

The Music Man

I was able to go home last weekend and watch Tess in The Music Man.  It was so fun and so good!  I love going home, and I loved that I had a good excuse this time :)

Tess was Eulalie Mackechnie Shinn (the mayor's wife).

She was awesome!  Every time she was on the stage I was laughing!  Tess really loves the musicals, and she's good at them!  I'm so glad I was able to go home and watch!  Great job Tess and all the Cokeville kids!  You did great!

I always loved doing the musical in high school, and I love going back to them.  There are so many people that work so hard to make these possible in our little town.  It takes a lot of work!  I'm just so glad I was able to participate in them!

Here's Tessa, Madi, and I my senior year in The Pajama Game.  Gotta love those wigs!

His Love

We watched this video in Relief Society today.  It was definitely inspired.  Thanks Kels!

There is always someone who knows EXACTLY what we're going through, and that's our Savior.  I know that our Savior loves us and knows what we are going through.  He suffered for everything that we have to suffer through.  No matter how bad we are hurting, He will be there to comfort us if we just let Him.  I am so thankful for Jesus Christ and the price He paid so that we can repent and be forgiven.  I know that through his Atonement we can be made whole again.  No matter what is going on in your life, no matter how hard it may be, or no matter how unworthy of His love you may feel, He loves you, and He wants you to return to His arms.  I love my Savior!

Normal?

I kinda feel like this represents not only me, but my whole family!

I'm pretty sure I've been voted most normal in my whole family though, so that's a PRETTY big deal!  But really, who decides what normal is anyways?!

The End of Our Era

Last Saturday this was me:

I was just a little bit excited :)  Tessa and the Cokeville Girls basketball team won the State Championship!  It was such an exciting weekend, and I'm so glad it ended so well!

It was a great weekend not only because the girls played so well, but because ALL of my siblings were there!  It was so fun to have us all together for the weekend.  Some of my favorite things of the weekend besides basketball:

Exercising with Tami, Mom, and Dad
Swimming with the little girls
Eating scotchies
Visiting with my sisters during the long drive
Not doing schoolwork
Getting some good sleep at nights
Breakfast at the Hampton
Making Brady laugh
Just being with my family. I really love them.

This weekend was also kind of bittersweet for our family.  It was the last time my dad would coach one of his daughters.   There's a 14 year difference between Taffy and Tessa, so lets just say he's been coaching his daughters for quite a while!  I'm just so glad it ended on a Championship :)  Way to go girls! Here's a lot of pictures from the weekend...

All of us on Friday

The girls before the BIG game

She's got a pretty sweet jump-shot :)

The whole gang of us Teicherts, minus the brothers in law and some grandkids.

Congrats Dad and Tess!  I'm so proud of you and I'm so glad I could be there!
