Party with the King Kids

The whole Christmas season is just so great!  I love doing Christmas-y things, and who better to do that with than kids?  So, Tess and I had the King kids over for a little party.  We started out with GREEN spaghetti noodles and RED sauce for lunch.  Then we mixed up two batches of Rice Krispie treats, one green and one plain.  They shaped their blob of Rice Krispie into what ever they wanted.  We had snowmen, turtles, snowflakes and more.  I was so surprised with how creative they were!  See for yourself!

It was a really easy, and super fun activity.  After, to make it a little more meaningful, they wrote a card to someone they thought could use a little "Christmas cheer" and delivered it with one or ALL of their Rice Krispie creations.  It was so fun to see them thinking of others and spreading some cheer.

After we got back from delivering we watched (well kinda) a movie, ate popcorn, made snowflakes, and painted the girl's nails. I had a blast, and I hope they did too!
